All paper materials are FSC certified and sourced from managed forests. We focus on using compostable or recycled materials with our clients. Where possible we suggest alternative tree paper materials such as Wheat Paper or GF Smith’s paper made from recycled coffee cups.

Our inks are vegetable based inks which means they are made rom linseed (flax), castor, canola, safflower, soybeans, corn oil or other vegetable based oil.

This is our alternative to using petroleum inks which uses crude oil – the environmental impact speaks for itself.

We work with suppliers who convert foil waste to solid recovered fuel to be used in the cement industry. This is used as a replacement for fossil fuels such as coal and 12 tonnes of polyester film replaces 10 tonnes of fossil fuel.

We encourage brands to have plastic free packaging and print. However, some brands have a preference to include plastic, for example laminates. Therefore we do our upmost in suggesting alternatives such as biodegradable laminate to minimise harm to our planet.

Our packaging is produced within the UK – less travel means less emissions from ships and trucks. You can order in batches which therefore means less wastage of packaging and more flexibility and proactive design changes to your packaging.
